There are three pre-licensure tracks to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The first track is the traditional day that is designed for incoming traditional age freshmen students. The Adult and Online Education track also known as the Evening Weekend Program is for non-traditional age students who have completed 65 credits in the general education courses that are required for the major. The program is part time with day, evening, and weekend courses and clinicals. The Foundations of Public Health course requires a day clinical commitment. The Fast Track is the third option. It is designed for students who have completed the 65 general education courses required for the major. This is a full-time day program. These students attend class and clinical in the fall and spring semesters for two academic years.

The Day, Adult and Online/Evening Weekend, and Fast Track curricula all begin in the Fall semester. Transfer students may only apply for Evening Weekend or Fast Track. Admission to any program is depended on compliance with admission requirements and available space in the nursing program.

The Robert E. and Joan Luttig Schoor Undergraduate Nursing Program in the Catherine McAuley School of Nursing is fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW Suite 750, Washington DC 20001, phone: 202-887-6791.

In addition to providing academic preparation for entry into professional nursing practice through licensure, the Maryville University Nursing undergraduate program also provides the student with the foundation for graduate study. The nursing curriculum prepares students to provide preventive, curative, and rehabilitative professional nursing care to individuals of all ages, to families, and to the community.

The program can be completed on a full-time basis through the Day and Fast Track programs or part-time through the Adult and Online Education. Clinical activities are held during the day, evening, and on weekends. Students must furnish their own transportation to and from the clinical sites. For certain courses, laboratory, and malpractice insurance fees are assessed. The Day and Fast Track course materials are covered under the one fee. The Adult and Online/Evening Weekend one fee does not cover the cost of course materials. Each student in Adult and Online/ Evening Weekend track is responsible for purchasing the required course materials.
