The sports business industry is a complex business. The Rawlings Sport Business Management major on-ground is focused on developing industry valued skills through experiential learning inside and outside of the classroom. Students have the benefit of a strong general business foundation through our John E. Simon business core, combined with special knowledge and experience in the areas that are critical for success in sports business management. The program provides students with specific competencies in corporate sponsorship, sales, data analysis, marketing, operations management, event management, and promotions as they relate to the sports industry through numerous partnerships with sport business organizations. The program requires students to gain practical experience through program exclusive experiential learning (Volunteer Experience, Internships, Industry Research, etc…)

Online Program Description
The Rawlings Sport Business Management major online program is focused on developing industry valued skills in the area of either Sport Data Analytics or “Gameface” Sales. These two areas have been developed in conjunction with industry professionals, so that our curriculum is current and practical. Students in this program are required to gain practical experience through internships and other practical experiences.

Graduation Requirements
- 128 credit hours minimum (last 30 hours in residency)
- A minimum half the major credit hours in residency
- A minimum half the minor credit hours in residency
- 60 credit hours must be completed at a 4-year institution
