The Master of Health Administration (MHA) is an online program that provides students with the opportunity to participate in professional education necessary to become competent and committed health care leaders by focusing on competencies specific to health administration. MHA courses are designed around the “Core Competencies for Health Administration” addressed by organizations such as the National Center on Healthcare Leadership and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The Program requires 36 graduate credit hours and is available in an online format only. Students may receive a general MHA degree or a MHA degree with a concentration in one of four (4) areas: Healthcare Strategies, Data Management, Senior Services or Population Management. Depending upon the students background, a course in business statistics may be required.
In addition to the required courses below, students take two (2) concentration courses. MHA 690 and MHA 691 are the last two courses students take in the MHA program.
