EDUC 662 - Integrated Curriculum
Credits: 3
This course is designed to help early childhood teacher candidates formulate early childhood curriculum and instruction based on developmental theories of learning and knowledge of child development. The focus of the course is on developing an integrated curriculum and assessment to support the development of the whole child. Emphasis will be placed on development and curriculum areas that include health, safety, nutrition, science, social studies, music & movement, and drama. This course, taken at the graduate level, requires additional readings and assignments.
