MATH 207 - Algebra for Educators
Credits: 3
This course is designed only for elementary and middle school/secondary mathematics education majors. This course includes the study of algebra and geometry. Algebra topics include rational number representations, algebraic expressions & equations, linear equations, and systems of linear equations. Geometry topics include measurement, geometric concepts, right triangle geometry, formal & informal proofs, and coordinates. Problem-solving and application problems will be incorporated throughout the course.
