BIOL 316L - Laboratory Methods in Microbiology

Credits: 0
Students will have mastered all the basic techniques of microbiology upon completion of the class.  These techniques include aseptic techniques, culture maintenance, staining, and viewing specimens under oil immersion with a microscope.  In addition, they will explore the properties of microbes and identify an unknown bacterium.  Finally, they will design, execute, and present their own microbiology project.
