EDUC 515 - Education and Developmental Psychology: Learning and Management Credits: 3 This course is designed to help education candidates understand effective classroom management and instructional practices based on psychology, education, and neuroscience research. The focus is on exploring the importance of academic mindset, trauma-informed practices, implicit bias, Universal Design for Learning, and the role of language and relationships in classrooms. Emphasis is placed on the appropriate application of theoretical frameworks to candidates’ future work in classrooms. This course, taken at the graduate level, requires additional readings and assignments. Related Courses: EDUC-315 Prerequisite: EDUC-201
