The need for marketing expertise is shared by both industrial corporations and not-for-profit institutions. Marketing is a dynamic area of study which must keep pace with the continual changes occurring in global, social and economic systems. Marketing graduates with high levels of expertise find employment opportunities in sales, advertising, retailing, research, direct, Internet and international marketing functions.
This program is accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs).
Program Outcomes:
A graduate of Maryville University with a major in marketing should be able to:

Synthesize core business knowledge with various marketing practices in a diverse, technologically adept, global environment.

Assess the financial impact of various marketing initiatives and identify those returning the greatest return on investment.

Analyze market research to inform marketing campaigns and refine understanding of the market to optimize firm revenue.

Demonstrate the ability to articulate, orally and in writing, the unique value contributed by various areas of marketing to organizational performance.
