The Advanced Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate builds upon the foundation established by the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate. This certificate introduces students to cutting-edge ideas and technologies from the fields of Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning while also allowing them to customize their curriculum through the selection of two elective courses.
Related Programs and Certificates
Students must complete the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate prior to enrolling in the Advanced Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate.
All courses completed as part of this certificate will count toward either the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence or the Master of Science in Data Science degree programs. Students who complete the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate can apply 6 credit hours of completed coursework toward the Machine Learning Graduate Certificate and the Big Data Graduate Certificate.

Additional Information
- All course requirements for this certificate must be completed within two years of enrollment into the certificate program.
- All courses taken while pursuing this certificate will earn Maryville credit and can be counted toward the completion of the Data Science, MS degree as well as the Artificial Intelligence, MS degree.
- Students who complete multiple certificates can apply up to six credit hours of previously completed coursework toward completion of each certificate.
